Sustainability Governance

The proactive management of material environmental, social, and governance issues is an important element of our corporate strategy that we expect to create long-term value for all of our stakeholders.

Our Board of Directors maintains oversight of our Sustainability strategy. Our Executive Leadership Team (ELT) strives to ensure that the appropriate sustainability factors are embedded into Definity’s corporate strategy and that key risks and opportunities are managed effectively. The ELT is supported by a cross-functional executive-level Sustainability Steering Committee, chaired by the Senior Vice-President, Corporate Affairs, which oversees the company’s Sustainability strategies and execution. A dedicated Sustainability function within our Corporate Strategy group provides day-to-day oversight and support to our business lines and corporate functions. A cross-functional Sustainability Working Group provides further support for the implementation of Definity’s Sustainability priorities.
